Agree with you except the RUF seems to be much better so I plumped for it (Just before it went on sale). Now I'm kinda hoping they'll discount Bathurst with all the hype surrounding the rF2 release.

As far as I know, the GTR X class will be closed in future and the cars will move to GTR 1 and in case of the glickhaus P4/5 to GTR 2. The cars have the first Physics-Model from R3E at the moment but will be updated.

So it might be an idea to buy them now

that is correct, the cars will be upgraded with new physics approach/philosophy/features and reshuffled into other classes.
