A car views question- Display mode vs VR mode

I have noticed something just lately differences between Display monitor and VR with car views.

Seems all the turned on apps and track map show up on all the car selected views when using a display monitor.
VR mode, all the apps and track map only show up in cockpit car view.

Any way to make the track map show up in other car views when using VR mode? Just curious.

Note: I do mainly use cockpit views for racing, but practicing on new tracks I use the Hood view in some cars to get a better view of the track till I learn it. So that is why the question. I dont use the other views.
