A question for all of you DTM drivers

Hi Guys
With the gear ratio's set for dtm cars how can you make the straight line speed faster? I know you can play around with the ai to make other cars slower , but with lower ai setting the races become very easy to win, but on higher ai setting im simply uncompetitive

thanks in advance
paul

do you mean DTM 2008-2010
if so save any setup youve made 9x label diff 1 to 9 then go and find it in the settups folder .....C:\Users\eigenaar\Documents\SimBin\RACE 07\UserData\CarSetups...
open it up and look for this

[CONTROLS]
SteerLockSetting=18
RearBrakeSetting=36
BrakePressureSetting=10
HandbrakePressSetting=0
[ENGINE]
RevLimitSetting=0
EngineMapSetting=1
EngineBrakingMapSetting=0
[DRIVELINE]
FinalDriveSetting=5 (this is what you change to get different ratios 1 to 9 )
ReverseSetting=0
Gear1Setting=0
Gear2Setting=1
Gear3Setting=2
Gear4Setting=3
Gear5Setting=4
Gear6Setting=5
DiffPumpSetting=0
DiffPowerSetting=3
DiffCoastSetting=12
DiffPreloadSetting=15

Here you will find what they are..
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\ user name \race 07\GameData\Teams\T2L_Addons\DTM2010
open up the LMT_DTM GRB file and you will see this
// LMT DTM 2009 Gearbox
//
[GEAR_RATIOS]
ratio=(12, 33)
ratio=(14, 28)
ratio=(17, 27)
ratio=(20, 27)
ratio=(22, 26)
ratio=(22, 23)

[FINAL_DRIVE]
bevel=(9,31)
ratio=(18,22)
ratio=(23,26)
ratio=(20,21)
ratio=(24,24)
ratio=(24,23)
ratio=(24,22)
ratio=(24,21)
ratio=(22,18)
ratio=(27,21)
