GT5 Adrian Newey talks us through the Red Bull X2010

For those who followed the development of Gran Turismo 5, it would be known that famed F1 designer Adrian Newey had been commisioned to design a special car for the game that tests what a race car would be like if not bound by regulations.

Initially called the X1 Prototype, the Red Bull X2010 is a fictional car that has insane specs: 1483bhp from a 3.0L V6 engine, and a top speed of 450km/h. In its original in-game test, it beat the F1 lap record at Suzuka by 20 seconds.

Now, a new video about the X2010 has been released, where Newey talks viewers through the design process of the car. A life-size model has already been built, but it is not drivable. However, Newey claims that the car can be built in real life, and that it obeys all physical laws - the basic gist of it is this: all that now needs to be done is find someone cashed-up enough to build it, and someone crazy enough to drive it!
