Information​

Welcome to our first ever club event for Automobilista 2! We hope to have some cracking racing here on RaceDepartment with this new sim, so get yourselves signed up and join in the fun!

Just a couple of things that need to be explained, as AMS 2's online features are still very much a WIP with some rough edges.

First of all, there will be a server reset just before the official practice session starts. This is necessary in order to sync up the sessions with our above timetable. Obviously you will be kicked from the server when this happens, but don't worry. Just wait a minute or so and you'll be able to jump straight back on again.

Second, AMS 2 servers do not currently support a proper two race format natively. To that end, two-race events (like this one) will run as two events, one after the other. The second event will have no practice session and a five minute "superpole" qualifying session. A trip to the lobby will also occur between the end of race one and the beginning of the superpole.

Other than that, please remember that AMS 2 is a new sim for us all, so there may be unforeseen issues and teething problems during our initial club events. Please bare with us while we learn our way around this sim and get things on an even keel.
