Assetto Corsa already comes with a brilliant Formula 1 style car, as a step upgrade to the Lotus Exos T125 customer car, but that doesn't stop the hardcore racing fans from demanding a more up-to-date 2014 version of the pinnacle of openwheeler racing and F1ASR is delivering on that cry from the community.

F1SR modding team, that used to create state of the art mods for rFactor has transformed into F1ASR and with the help of new dedicated enthusiasts aiming to bring to sim racing the best free scratch build community content available.

Besides content for rFactor 2 the team is now also recreating the F1 2014 season complete with all in house 3D designed cars, audio, textures and physics. All content is solely created from the ground up by a team of around 30 artists and modders that have come forward from the sim racing community.

Besides the current F1 season the team has adopted another big challenge in bringing the popular GP2 series to Assetto Corsa as well with a lot of care for miniature details as the mod will come with 13 teams and 26 individual liveries as each driver in the team has a different sponsor package.

OK, I don't know if it's just me but the car behaves strange on up shift. When I try to short shift to avoid wheel spin, the car does the oposite, the back end steps out and there she goes. It behaves the same as if I was to down shift with too high RPM.
Am I going crazy or someone else also experienced this?

take off the autoclutch and there is a setup for the car to install into your documents , direct within the download , under optional in setups

@David Dominguez . I would love more set-ups.
First I think your work is amazing. You guys must be super pleased.

I have driven it around Monza, Silverstone, Yas Marina and finally everyones favourite Mugello all using your Silverstone_base. I have just moved to 130Nm pre-load the diff while I get used to things.

At Mugello I am consistently within 200ms of my PB but when I go away from any setting of the silverstone_base the lap times dive. Little bit of bump, little bit softer suspension, little bit lower each send me 0.75 seconds slower. Then I return to silverstone_base and back on PBs in the second lap.

Would love a set-up for Imola that could take the bumps if you have one.

Thanks

Yes it's a known issue related to clutch torque, will be fixed in the next update, hopefully today.

After some test driving and taming the default twitchy power train settings this MOD ROCKS!!!! Wow - love the knife edge feeling of this car.

If this indicative of the types of MODS we can expect for AC - the future is bright indeed.

Man, oh man - 1990s IndyCars would be so awesome!!!

Still didn't fix it, sadly enough :-(. I have everything maxed out tho, that might be the issue, however I don't have the problem with any other combo.
Same problem here unfortunately. No problem when driving alone in free practice, but as soon as I want to do a race weekend or quick race it crashes after loading the cars. Tried it with the lowres textures, but the problem remained.

Nevertheless great work on the mod :thumbsup:
