I am reworking an old mod of the 1958-1961 Austin Healey Sprite Mark 1
First time modding and the improvements done on the original model are:
- Removed the front bumper using 3ds Max
- Made skins of all available colors in '58-'61
- Updated dashboard and seat colors
- Updated the paint reflections using CM
- Swapped the engine A-Series 1275cc engine (Pessio permission granted)
- Swapped the sound (Luathas permission granted)
- Slightly better driver position
- Updated license plates, parts taken from Pessio’s Mini
- 60s Vintage GT tyres
Things to improve are:
- Change dashboard light from green to yellow Done
- Futher improving the driver position
- Switching driver model to the 60s style model
- Lower the cockpit rear view (not the mirror)
- Further improve handling to a 1275 Sprite (that will probably solve the problem that the car tends to bounce off the curb)
- Add historic racing skins Done
- Add cheeky spotlights between grill and front blinkers
- British Motor Company Hardtop/Sidescreens
- Add wire wheels maybe I can ask for permission to use wheels from another mod and swap them
The model is not the standard for 2020 but I would love to make the car driveable enough and maybe even remotely realistic. :')
If someone can point me into the right directions with tutorials or tips/tricks that would be awesome! Thanks!
