Misc Better lightning 1.1.1

smurth submitted a new resource:

Better lightning - Reshade -10fps cost

My try to enhance LMU (it also works with RF2)

- Reduce overexposure in mid-tones
- Darker but detailed shadows
- A very little touch of bloom
- A very little bit warmer

It will cost 10 fps but this also improve a better 3d feeling.


Installation:
Extract in "...\steamapps\common\Le Mans Ultimate"

VR is there in LMU, not directly but it works...
In any case, I'll try it as soon as I can and then I'll tell you if it works

last night I tried and it works in VR, of course 10 fps is a lot... but it works and the improvement is interesting!!!!

I 'm thinking a bout trying a variant without bloom which cost 5-6 fps...

Remove Bloom

- Only kept 2 shaders.
- Tuned Shadows / Mid-tones / Highlights to compensate the bloom loss.

for me it was perfect at first release. I hope it doesn't get less with this update ;-)

Maybe , if possible , create 2 mods : one HQ (1.0) and one LQ (1.1)

So that further change can be done in both version. Personally I like a lot 1.0 as my config can handle it.

OK, I will add another preset ; with bloom, again.
It will be different from 1.0 because I'll base it upon 1.1 which I consider better (except the little bloom touch loss)
