When / How can we access the tunnel ?

I think it's something Kunos will let us access later on when they figured out the reverb setting !

Dont believe its an earlier iteration because it doesn't make any sense at all !

Wonder if there is anyone who have inside information on this ?

I'd love to drive in a long tunnel and hear the engine scream !

No inside information but that section of road has really low grip and huge bumps so it's not very suitable for driving on right now.

It doesn't have reverb so you might be right about that.

Same way you add extra pit spots to default content, except in reverse, taking barriers out.

Oh that part at the end... I see why.
Have you tried to see if taking that shortcut is much faster than normal route or compensates for risking on ruining the car?

@Brownninja97 works with Kunos and usually has good insider information. If he says it's left over from an earlier iteration of the track I would tend to believe him.

Well, don't tell people that, it will lessen your mystique!! My guess is that tunnel leads to a veterinarians' office and the Kunos Kitty insisted the road be banished (last time he went to the vet he came home missing two important body parts )

Why not just remove it ?

they probably thought it would add more detail. A mystery road looks better then a blank cliff face.

Reverb is in since long going under stuff. Maybe they release a version with that part, or not. Might not be proper road in there. We will see i guess.
