BMW Prototype Z3 V12

It´s great to see pictures surfacing years later on projects car companies have worked on then just cancelled the plans for whatever reasons.
The great thing is those projects/cars are still around today.

Found this, this was before the Z3 M version came so someone at BMW decided, "hey, why not use a V12?"
So they did, it´s the V12 from the old 7-series if anyone remember that car (750i James Bond movie)

It actually doesn´t look that bad but from a driving point of view it was apparently horrendous.
It had 70% of it´s weight on the front axle... a normal BMW has maybe 53% of it´s weight on the front axle.
You can imagine the handling characteristics :)

V12´s are super smooth engines, i think you can stand a coin on the engine on idle and it would still stand.
