Buying rFactor

I recently downloaded and activated rFactor which cost £24 but I've now seen this http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/3477783/rFactor/Product.html?ptsl=1&ob=Price&fb=0 which is £12, firstly I would like to know how can the DVD version be so much cheaper?

Secondly my Brother is going to buy it but are these DVD's the full version and will they be playable online etc?

Even cheaper here http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-li...rect=true&qid=1273611463&sr=8-2&condition=all and they say "NEW" how the hell can they can be £7 and how are ISI getting away with charging £24 to download and activate online

LOL I do agree on that, I have put off buying it for far too long to be honest.

One more question, I have DVD version that came with Video Cards in the past, are they just demo's or the full version and please, please don't tell me I could have used one of those instead?

Regards
