Cannot go to track

Hi. Help needed. I have been enjoying AC until today when I made some adjustments in settings in relation to Auto Clutch. Now, when I set up for practice or race, it shows that it is loading the track and car(s) then I get kicked back to the setup screen. I'm quite sure I have done something simple and stupid. Any help would be appreciated.

I have verified the files on Steam.

UPDATE. I got fed up trying so switched off computer. When I fired it up again it appears to be back to normal. Panic over for now.
