Cheap, but good, DIY, SIM rig

Gotta buy the tools gotta measure, gotta get the bolts, gonna get splinters, gonna cut your fingers, gonna get angry doing it, rather buy a good quality one lol

All us diy ers started with a similar type rig. After a period most strive for something a bit more elegant.80/20 rigs appear to be the next step up for most. I purchased some plans for a hot rodding formula type cockpit. Maybe a bit too tight for my 220lbs frame, but nothing says you can't customize them.
It's a hobby, all different types of people, budgets, experiences and tools. Nice to see others solution to the problem... I'm not a fan of the use of the word "cheap", affordable is more like it
