F1 2010 Cloth setting - what's that ?

Everything is in the title. What's the purpose of the 'cloth' setting in older F1 games ? Leaves me puzzled that one.

I dont understand this thing as I have been implemented this for the juice wrld store and not working well at all.

I guess if you need a better clothing for this role playing?right? I suggest the wearing a custom clothing would be nice for playing.
