F1 2012 Corrupt profiles when using modded database etc

Looking through some of the posts on here some people are still having trouble with this...

Its all to do with steam I think. Before you make any changes load F1 2012 and have a lap or two. Then close down the game and make your changes. When you play again the profile will be OK.

I have no idea why this works but it does.

I guess you meant F1 2012 not F1 2013

Anyway, I had to move your post, as the mod forum, apart from a few sticky threads, is for actual mod releases only, not general mod discussions.
