CSR Elite: Questions about wheel removal.

Plain and simple. Can the wheel on the CSR Elite's be replaced with a 3rd party wheel? I've been trying to figure this out but without one in my hands it's pretty hard to answer but from some pics I have seen I think it is possible.

Yeah... I know the CSW's are coming out but I know for a fact that you can't use an after market wheel with it because of the quick release and the wiring.

Yes, but it's a hack. a guy on the iRacing forums did it

I just found that thread. There's got to be a way to do it without keeping the board and not loose FFB? Hmmm.
