Absolutely horrible crash. Not the way I want to see IndyCar end a thrilling championship season. I'm glad most of the drivers are ok but my thoughts are with Pippa Mann, JR Hildebrand, and Dan Wheldon. I was told that Wheldon's roll bar fell off during the crash and he was airlifted. Absolutely horrible wreck.

What makes me feel worse is that the live footage had Dan onboard as the crash started. Similar to 1994 where you could see Senna start to crash from Schumacher's onboard camera.

I have a bad feeling that dan has passed away. The way he hit that catch fence with his head out in the open. It is very hard for me to stomach right now.....I dont want any racer to die but to dan is just terrible. He lost his ride, wins the indy 500 on a one time deal, finally gets back in the seat for this race and now this. The guy is cool as hell and the thought of what happened to him makes me feel wheezy. My prayers are with his family at this moment.
