The next wave of DLC content for DiRT Rally 2.0 will begin this June 4th.

Working to a schedule that sees post release DLC content released for DiRT Rally 2.0 in an often slightly confusing "season" format - Codemasters have confirmed that the "season 2" batch of new cars and rallies will begin to release from June 4th.

Set to have a focus on the World Rallycross aspect of the title, season 2 will add two new locations in the form of the Wales Rally and German and Latvian RX circuits and six new cars, spread across 11 weeks beginning June 6th with the mighty Peugeot 205 T16 Group B Rallycross car and the iconic Ford RS200 Evo. Oh an a special livery too...

The full 'Season 2' DLC launch schedule can be seen below:

Alongside this new DLC confirmation, Codemasters have also recently deployed both the big 1.4 game update, and a new hotfix aimed at addressing the Force Feedback complaints of the DiRT 2.0 community. You can find out more about the FFB update HERE.

“Season Two is a perfect blend of new and old and there is something here for everyone,” said Ross Gowing, Game Director. “Fans will be thrilled at the return of the Group B rallycross cars and we’re excited to give our community two new circuits in Latvia and Germany.

Although our primary focus for Season Two is on rallycross, we haven’t forgotten our rally purists, and we know from fan feedback how much they love taking on the tough Welsh terrain and what better way to do it than in Ryan Champion’s Porsche 911 SC RS.”

Players who bought the Deluxe Edition will receive all content as part of their Season Pass. Similar to Season One, players who own the Day One or Standard Edition will have the opportunity to purchase each season and piece of content separately on their digital store of choice.

We need Greece!
This was the best playground so far....

And i miss the iconic 22B Subaru.
Would be nice to get the Juha Kankunnen Escort WRC (the one without the big wing)
Dont know why Toyota is so strange that they against to put their cars in games....
There are lot of they cars which are mandatory for this game.
Lets see if an Season 3 will appear...

But i am happy about Estering (RX Germany) :)

the force feedback is slightly different now, but still not great. Feels kind of rough and clunky. I guess it's supposed to be the suspension. But I still cannot feel a weight transfer or changing grip levels. Argentina feels the same way like Spain.I have a Fanatec CSW V2. When DiRT Rally would be a good game the force feedback should work perfectly out of the box without adjusting anything. Last time I bought a game from codemasters in advance. I should have returned it right away. But ffb is only one thing but the most important one in a really game

I would say Season 3 is a safe bet at this point. I mean we basically got the 2001 Impreza promised, and they have apparently also been re-recording audio for the 2001 Ford Focus recently, and I think one other car.

And i miss the iconic 22B Subaru.
I'm almost certain the car you miss is not the Impreza 22B ;) It's a widespread mistake, but 22B was never a rally car. 22B was a limited edition road car based on the 1997 Impreza WRC.

(And as for the car you miss, you are probably thinking of the "bugeye" 2001 Impreza WRC.)

I love the idea of a classic Porsche in a rally game. V-Rally 4 has one too, but that game is NFS-ish levels of arcade as far as I know. The Lancia 037 is essential, I suffered a lot driving it in the previous game, but each succesful stage was highly satisfactory.

At this point I wonder what will happen with the upcoming seasons. To us Deluxe owners they only promised Season 1 and 2, so any further content might as well be paid DLC for everyone. But what I would really like to see is more entirely new content to the series. Cars like the DS 21 and the BMW M1 were totally unexpected to me. I like surprises like that, even if not too many people actually use them ingame. R-GT cars are also very cool, even if two of them are fictional.

That Porsche 911 almost makes up for the lack of the Subaru WRC 2001.... almost. It's sad that the sim will likely never see the last competitive sedan in the sport. Unfortunately instead we got the boring modern hatchback version. Although, I do like the idea of slowly releasing the content over time after the release, what I don't appreciate is all of the rereleased DR1 content. Luckily I got the DLC for free effectively by getting the sim on cdkeys, otherwise I'd feel pretty ripped off.

That's what I'm waiting for. Full game on sale. Doesn't seem like I am missing a whole lot by waiting with the ffb issues etc
The game should be on sale during the steam spring sale very soon, so that would be a good time to get it. The guys here at racedepartment have been very nitpicky with the game, but trust me when I say that it's easily the best rally game made to date. I've been having a huge amount of fun playing it lately, and have been pleased with what's been released. The main issue is really just the dlc pricing and way they're handling that. Once you get it on sale, it'll only be about the racing from then on.
