Do I need to manually turn FFBclip on everytime I enter a new race?

So I've just started using FFBclip.

I realize everytime I start a new run my FFB is very weak at first until I turn the ffbclip on from the sidebar.

Is it possible to just save the settings and just not bother with it anymore once I am satisfied with the car/track combo? I am not sure if manual override does this.

Should I check the box for run in background?

Sorry, a little new to this and would love some help.

I have my ffb clip on all the time, just to the left of triple screen. You will need to tweak for each new car and track but it should remember it after. Not sure what happens If you don't run the app because I always run it.
