F1 2015 DS4 Controller issue with new patch.

So I've recently installed the latest patch (Patch 4) to this game and now my DS4 controller is no longer supported apparently. I haven't had any issues with it before and with this current patch it has become unplayable.

If so, why have they taken out the support for my controller? Is there any fix to my issue?

You can only hope that whatever they did in patch 4, which effected many controllers in a bad way, not just yours, will be reversed or fixed in the next patch.

The problem with console patches is that they tend to lag well behind the PC patches. This probably due to the expense of having to pay Microsoft & Sony to test and verify each patch.

Maybe that is a silver lining, at least the patch gets checked before it goes out to the unsuspecting public. Case in point PC Patch 4.

I don't think they are checked for game functionality (that would be Codemasters own QC), just that the patch doesn't screw with the console device itself and the MS/Sony gaming network.

I'm on PC. With DS4 windows. Any news on when the next patch will be available? Days, weeks?

The Community Manager for CM posted a few hours ago that a PC patch is undergoing testing and hopefully will be going live on steam soon.
