After 3 years of work, Enduracers and the Gentlemen Racers are happily releasing the 1st package of the Endurance Series mod for rFactor. It will give you the chance to simulate the best endurance racing experience ever seen in a video game. Cars from ALMS, LMS and the Le Mans 24hrs are scheduled for this mod. Audi vs Peugeot, Aston Martin vs Corvette, Porsche vs Ferrari...

For this important mod EnduRacers has chosen to work in packs. After the initial release including the mod base and first pack of cars, Enduracers will release frequent "Service Packs", adding new car models, sounds, physics and skins. That is why the mod can be classified as "evolutive" and will live and grow continuously after the initial v1.0 release.

Don't forget to read through the readme carefully, you will find a lot of important information in order to use the mod in the best possible way. Don't forget that the mod is very big, and that this is endurance. Don't judge it by doing 2 laps with 1 car, take your time to learn it and really appreciate it.

But even with RealFeel, there's not much feedback for the rear of the car... I don't know... I really feel the rear when playing iRacing or GTR Evo, but can't feel in rFactor... Sure RealFeel helps a lot, a lot indeed, but it just don't solve the problem for me...
But I'm getting used to it again... :)

Did you buy the upgrade for the car?

Also, if you adjust the settings in the .ini you will be able to feel the car, I certainly could last night.

Yep!

I know we can feel the rear sliding, but the problem is when I feel it, it's almost impossible to correct the steering so the car doesnt spin. I can't feel it when the cars starts sliding... I don't know... Maybe it's the 15% I put in the profiler. :)

About the ini, I just copied and pasted the feedback section the readme suggested to my controller.ini.

I kept my old controller.ini, but I tried their values for the RealFeel.ini - was too light for me so i changed max force at steering rack to 1200 on the prototypes.

They are hard to correct, but it does depend on setup/tyres. I found with mediums on an LMP1 its actually easy enough to catch the slide. Steering lock is another big factor in this. GT's should be around 540/18-20 and a bit more lock for prototypes.

Well after a little more testing I have found it easier, but still very hard in the GT cars.

I am thinking it might be something to do with the downchanges. Does anyone know if the downchange physics are different from proto and GT coz I dont get any issues at all with this in P1/2 cars and find them reasonably forgiving if still a little hard to predict from the tail? I am finding that the P1/2 cars auto blip on seq boxes but the GT cars dont seem to as much?

I have even tried using H pattern and clutch, and aswell as being much slower than regular seq it is hard to heel and toe which seems to add weight to the fact it might be something to do with the auto blip/downchange settings.

I will try realfeel aswell though I tend to run in reverse normal to ahve heavier steering, havent noticed any affect at all with power steering settings in the mod.

As mentioned though the mod is beautiful, cars amazing and sound is simply the best from any mod so far, realistic and an aspect so many modders ignore to their peril.

Just a shame I cant yet get on with the GT cars as much, they wander about so much!!

The GT cars don't have any auto-blip, so you have to do it yourself. Just give the throttle a quick stab when you down shift. Leaving the throttle in a bit will help keep the back end settled and if does start to brake loose, a little more throttle won't hurt.

You just have to select the realfeel ffb in the upgrade section, that's it.
Yes, Ivo, just need to do like Sander said. Select it and click buy in the upgrade section of each car you're gonna drive.
Then, you launch rFactor once and the realfeel.ini is gonna be created. Go in the ini and change the values there to your likings. You can change it in game also, just need to learn the hotkeys.
Another thing I'd tell you to do is to adjust the settings in the logitech profiler, because it really adds something to the feeling.

Hmm i don't know, but i can now select the buy option. So it's oke now.
Thanks for helping guys. Need to get the feeling again with Rfactor after a 1,5 year break. :wink2: But i got now the ff i want. And the tip from Aritan worked also great, i have more feeling now in the center. :)

Well I noticed the auto blip thing in the notes and just a go online

Now I rememebr why I dont play RF much anymore

4 seconds off the pace!! in similar cars

Aliens only need apply methinks here, shant be playing this for long online I think

Not playing it wont make you faster, best thing you can do is race at RD and you'll improve by far. These cars take a bit of getting used to so don't expect to be quick straight away.

At some point I will read through this thread, but I must say, I was close to put my rfactor on sale as well, but this mod changed my decision. Have only driven a handfull laps, and this feels so much better than anything else I tried before with rfactor! (okok, the go-cart are cool as well :))

Yep!
If you check the enduracers readme, they also have some instructions about some settings for night racing...
I did those settings from the link you posted a while ago for the other enduro at Nurburgring, but didnt get a chance to test online... :(
Offline was ok, but dont know online...
