Not sure if there is any set setup that is working on different savegames.

The setups are different for different drivers so it doesn't look like there is going to be an optimal setup like with motorsport manager where you use the two drivers to find the optimal based on different feedback. Its a bit of a challenge to get them dialed in as well due to the impact of adjustments affecting multiple aspects.

One thing I will say - simulated practice always produces a much worse result than if I do it myself. So from that perspective you need to waste time doing it for the best results.
