Fanatec CSL Elite LC with DIY handbrake

Has anyone connected up a DIY analog handbrake to the elite LC yet? I can trace what pins are connected for +ve /gnd and seems two pins go to the chip but no combo can seem to get anything to register in the properties tab for me (This handbrake worked fine on my csp v1) so I am a bit lost atm.

Did you ever find a solution for this? Im trying to connect a sliding potentiometer but in the fanatec properties it registers only like a maximum of 5% of handbrake.
