Fanatec handbrake jack plug wiring order help please

Hi all,

I accidentally bashed the mini-jack plug for my handbrake with my knee and broke the plug.
Does anyone know which colour wires go to which pin on a new mini-jack plug? This one is a right angle plug so hopefully it won't happen again!

Thanks in advance.

Ok, I found the info on the Fanatec forum.

Another question, can the Fanatec handbrake cable be purchased anywhere in the UK? For a cable that costs 6 pounds Fanatec want 20 for delivery!

Fanatec uses the same data cable for all its peripherals (handbrake, shifter, pedals, e-stop). These are standard RJ12 6P6C data cables which can be purchased almost anywhere in the world. I recently bought a pair of two 2-foot cables for $9 on Amazon.

Update:

In the end I ordered a replacement cable from Fanatec. Their customer support were incredibly helpful (even responding to my query on a Sunday!) and sorted out a cheaper delivery option for me.

All in all I'm very happy with the help I received.

p.s. if you need to know the wiring order for the jack plug it's this.

RJ12 colour jack 3.5
1 black tip
2 green tip
3 nc
4 nc
5 white base
6 red ring
