I actually mostly use an xbox controller (long story), and these cars are just as enjoyable using this. This is what I love the most about RSS cars. Kunos stuff is the same, enjoyable with a gamepad, sublime with VR and a wheel.

This is the perfect balance that Kunos and RSS get everytime. A mark of real quality.

very nice pleased I didn't hear any pre release stuff the DFV is wonderful(fascinating how the same engine can sound so different in the Lotus 49/72/79) drives really nicely until you lose ground effect and its gone. Great fun to drive.

According here the 312T has even higher top speed , setup is everything on these cars

Age to talk test the car is much slower than the lotus 72, this lotus 79 is a bad job ... i dumped 4 dollars from the window ...

I will double check drag figures next week, but the 72D was less draggy than the 79.

And about top speed yeah, I've thought myself that it was "slow", but it's all about gear ratios and setup, but even at default settings this car is faster around the corners, WAY faster.
It also depends on the track, of course.
Try racing the 312T and the Lotus 72D and the difference on cornering speed thanks to the much improved downforce is huge.
