I'm honestly more exited for this then the actual car launches. For how much longer do we have to endure the suspense of waiting? Looking amazing so far though.

Yeah I think the Force India isn't the most naturally pretty, but I think they will all look cool on track when we can really see the new proportions - I think all the studio shots are quite deceiving - once we see them in a familiar environment we will get a proper feel for them.

And there we go, first look of one on track - I think it looks ace! Not the biggest fan of Saubers new car, I think the Renault and Williams look a lot better, but even so I'm impressed with the stance on the track.

Yes you are correct no fin ,

Yesterday I played around with the fin a little and added it to my main LOD ,
We had the exact same FIA rulebook what all the real teams use from 3/4 last year ,

From creating the car within our team ,
Our car is scratch built and designed by only 3 people ,
Audio ,
Physics ,
And 3D ,
I personally have seen to all the 3D on the project ,
And us 3 people designed and built the car to our own design using the rules like the real teams did to create there car ,


Obviously the real F1 teams have 1000,s of engineers and aero tech guy,s
And many years experience reading these rules ,
As you can understand its all text and really complicated ,

Our car is a MM replication to the rules and bounding boxes ,

What we lack from not having 100,s of engineers reading all this information is ,
Where to exploit these rules ,

Maybe last years rules , exactly stated , for example ,
200mm past the Tcam theremust be no bodywork ect ,

So probably all the teams are just exploiting lack of information in the rulebook ,

What the issue is now is ,
As you can clearly see , we can add the fin ,
But it will be using a different texture and material to the main chassis ,
Will be using different UV space ,

Personally in my eyes its a nice touch ,
But as a 3D artist , I do not like the way I can implement it to our build ,
to me it lacks quality ,

It needs doing correctly and building into what is already there ))
It may get updated depending on our popular the car is upon release ,

Love it - apparently the new regs encourage that, due to the front edge of the floor starting further back. I think the high rake looks cool as hell

Mercedes might go for a high rake this year now that they banned their front suspension heave unit style
