Codemasters have released a new update to the Formula One 2016 mobile game, adding to the title a number of fixes and improvements for the slimmed down version of the popular official Grand Prix game.
With a successful launch on PC and console already behind Codemasters, the British studio took another step towards conquering all gaming platforms with the iOS release of F1 2016. Now following the November mobile launch, Codemasters have listened to fans and updated the game with a few nice enhancements such as AI improvements and the inclusion of iCloud saving. Other general bug fixes have been carried out and minor performance tweaks to optimise the title performance have been carried out.
The full December 12th release notes can be read below:
- iCloud saving implemented. Now the player can start a game on their iPhone, iPod or iPad and then continue on their Apple TV, and vice versa.
- AI improvements. Opponent behaviour has improved and also their driving, resulting in lap times that are now much closer to typical F1 lap times.
- Driving Assists – when the game runs for the first time, the player is prompted with a screen which allows them to modify assists. This will help players who did not realise that it was possible to change these assists.
- General bug fixes, performance enhancements and improvements.
Formula One 2016 is available for Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well as a version for iOS devices.
