how can I change the .vtf files?

Download notepad++ or any other software that can read and edit xml files, then once installed, open the erp file and select the team you want to edit, then click on the xml files button on the top row and then click export and save the file. Then use notepad++ to open it and then you can start editing.

No. The tyrecompounds is already a single erp file and this year we are replacing files. So it would be a bad scenario having the tc merged with the performance.
If one uses a performance mod and then wants to use a tyre mod ... bad for the users. Currently they've got the better freedom the way it goes.
