G27 inverted pedals setup?

Hi all I'm building up my first aluminum profile rig, and I'm trying to replicate my car in real life as much as I can. So I decide to ask for ideas here about how I should mount my G27 pedals. The inverted setup had never come to my mind until recently I found quite a few videos on Youtube showing people who do that, including Shaun Cole who used an inverted pedal setup 5 years ago on ISRTV - he seemed to have stopped using inverted setup for a long time I guess.

I've talked to a few people about this inverted G27 pedal setup, and many give me an answer of "don't do that". They say that the angle that the pedals are pushed in will be totally different from a real car. Inverted pedals are pushed "down" rather than "in", so it feels like driving a bus in a weird position.

I'm wondering if this type of issue comes with the angle at which the pedals are installed? Has anyone here tried an inverted pedal setup? Is anyone satisfied? What is the angle of your installment?

Thanks in advance.
