Be sure you use the latest version of CM. It seems the procedural generation is not working.

Sorry, I hadn't noticed the tiny blue dot at the top of CM (!) I have now updated CM and will reinstall and retest v2.0 this afternoon. Thank you

I was testing Cold weather at 18:00, I really like how it looks but when I ended the session I got these errors...

I tried again loading the same weather and time but I did not drive and got no errors?

Will test it more later to see if I can recreate it...

gbwSuite has special dusk & dawn sceneries between
8:00-8:30 and 17:30-18:00

Btw i just tested GBW's reshade, the fps difference between on and off is insane.

The test was done on silverstone with the SF70H without any AI in the track.

I get 90-100 fps with the reshade on
I get 140-150 with the reshade off

Hit Shift+F10 and click (deactivate) on the "magic bloom". It takes quite a lot without that much difference. For me with a 1070 and vsync on it doesn't make a difference. 30% or 40% GPU load @ 1x 1080p

Insane is relative. You got a high fps loss with high fps. But less loss with less fps. If you switch off MagicBloom you will get your fps back. Its a fx which looks pretty nice, but without its already good. Its not that important. I gone back to standard AA and switched on Nvidia's MFAA and got really high fps to activate the full gbwS Reshade effects.

Thanks for the help but now that i think of it, the difference in quality to me is just a margin of error so i'm gonna stay away from reshade for awhile.

Of course. Its an additional effect. gbwSuite is designed to give you realistic visuals even without Reshade.

I ran some tests yesterday to verify that MagicBloom effect is still a perfomance hog, and got exactly the same results as with previous version of GBW and Reshade

Most likely the issue you are experiencing is somewhere else.
If you are using reshade, disable MagicBloom, that would give back around 15% of fps

I just updated to the 2.0 version, and I don't know if it was doing this before, but for me it's not showing any cloud textures, unless I use the "original" weather preset options. Any ideas what might be causing this? Using latest version of CM.

Disregard the previous; apparently when installing the texture folder "gbw suite" for clouds just didn't copy for some reason. Carry on!

Hey Peter, is there any chance you might be working on a future extension of your gbwS including low light / night times with Assetto Corsa?

As for the limitation of having no more than one fixed light source it may be reasonable to extend the original Assetto Corsa times to say 0500 - 2100.

CM has some new features which supports extented timeline. I will look to use this. But ingame we are limited to 8:00-18:00.
