GT7 Gran Turismo 7 to see return of Daytona International Speedway

Daytona, let's go away!

Confirmed via Gran Turismo's official Twitter account earlier today, Daytona becomes the first real world track to make a return in Gran Turismo 7 after missing the cut in Sport, and the fourth returning track overall. This is great news for USA players in particular, who didn't have a track from their own country to race on when GT Sport first released, and still only have Laguna Seca now.

But in any case, more tracks is a good thing no matter where the track is. Daytona was previously introduced to the Gran Turismo franchise in 5, and mostly utilized in conjunction with the NASCAR licence that Polyphony Digital had at the time. But it's unlikely that PD will obtain that licence again, and combined with the road course featuring in the tweet image, I suspect a greater empathizes will be placed on the infield layout in 7.
