Gtr2 won't start

Hi guys i am looking for some help please, I purchased the sim bin mega pack on stream and all the games work fine apart from GTR2 which won't start. When you go to start the game and the play screen comes up you press play game a small black box pops up and then disappears and nothing happens. Anyone else have this? I'm running windows 7 pro. Any advise would be great as I'm stuck.

Did you try starting game as administrator ?

Hi, as its an old game that was not designed for win 7 there has been allot of startup issues reported with older titles..
solutions were wide in range.. some tripple screen modes cause CTD
inside the gtr2 folder there are a number of .exe
click on each one and run in compatibility Xp service pack 3
and run as Admin as Jean-Pierre Blanchy suggested
and try starting the sim from inside the steam library (not desktop) if it works you can then send a shortcut to desktop or try to start form inside the gtr2 folder inside of steam
let us know how you did when you get it working as this may be a new solution
mine worked straight out the box from steam with the above..

I can't find the exe folders, I'm a bit new to all this and must be looking in the wrong place ?
