You do NOT need Modular Mods! I managed to do the complex chassis switching manually. The mod works alone as is

If there is no mention of Modular Mods (I usually highlight it in the mod descriptions) then you will not need it. The only mods that need it are the MyTeam ones that swap the chassis from one of the official teams (so if the body & steering wheel of the MyTeam car looks different).
