It's fascinating as a sim racers to see where they gain/lose time relative to one another. It's equally fascinating to see how incredibly close the margins are - and this comparison being between a driver widely regarded as great and a driver widely regarded as being somewhat meh...and yet they are never more than .1 secs apart!
I've often wondered if maybe F1 is sometimes *too* precise for casual viewers. The cars are so finely tuned, the drivers are so superlatively precise...while that can be awesome and awe inspiring, at the same time it can feel kind of bland.
