A mod/config alteration required if there is one?

My 12 year old daughter wants to try and play the game, but without brake assist, as this auto routine dictates the speed of the car on the green/orange/red arrows of the racing line, but if she tries to drive round a corner inside the racing line, the auto keeps the car very slow and everything drives past her.

Can I set up a profile for her as well, so that she cannot affect my save-games?

The game is played through STEAM, so where would the alterations/mods go?

Create a new driver profile

Could you not just create a new driver profile for her...and she logs in separate from you? Then once logged in, go and change the assists?
