Hesitation when player joins server

I get a hesitation when a player joins server. If middle of a corner then outcome is not good. Is this normal? Can i reduce or prevent it?

Still trying to figure this out before spending on the game.

But appart from this, I'm really liking the feel of it.
I've been away from sim racing for more than a year, and before I stopped this didn't feel good on the wheel.

Now is the best of what I've tried so far.

Need to get down to try different settings to try and fix this.
