hopefully last noob question

Ok, I'm done with my track aside from lights. I've got quite a few different lights in xpacks but the only light that works is the one that comes in the default pack but it's not big enough or the correct shape. 1) How do i fix the lights so they work in rfactor when night racing? If possible.
2) If i can't do that how do i edit the sky.Mas file to be a night sky?
I've seen someone have the sky.mas as a black one and looks fine but if i can fix the lights that would be ideal.
I even tried copying the sky.mas from that track and it gave an error so I'm guessing it's not just that easy.

Btw, it's a dirt track in the south and runs at night.

night lights aren't possible in btb, you need to go into 3ds max for lighting the track. they are called onmi lights, but basically all you fo is load your track into 3ds max and create onmi lights and get the coord's from 3ds max and edited your rfactor scene file with something like this in note editor or your choice text editor

Light=nightlight01
{
Type=Omni Pos=(-11.795489, 8.142024, 2.009170) Range=(0.000000, 60.000000) Active=True Intensity=(1.000000) Color=(255, 255, 255)
}
Light=nightlight02
{
Type=Omni Pos=(6.116986, 3.383490, 7.221433) Range=(0.000000, 60.000000) Active=True Intensity=(1.000000) Color=(255, 255, 255)
}
Light=nightlight03
{
Type=Omni Pos=(-0.685242, 3.342738, -2.411407) Range=(0.000000, 60.000000) Active=True Intensity=(1.000000) Color=(255, 255, 255)
}
Light=nightlight04
{
Type=Omni Pos=(-13.151792, 3.208823, -1.479951) Range=(0.000000, 60.000000) Active=True Intensity=(1.000000) Color=(255, 255, 255)
}
Light=nightlight05
{
Type=Omni Pos=(0.172746, 3.288516, 5.292015) Range=(0.000000, 60.000000) Active=True Intensity=(1.000000) Color=(255, 255, 255)
}

Lee if you set the time to say 9pm theres no light to see where you are going but what I did was go in the SCN file and seen it has the MAS files in there and just copied a night time sky MAS file to my main folder and used it. pretty much all I needed
