Yesterday I visited my favorite bookshop here in São Paulo, and, much to my surprise, there was an exhibit of old race cars right outside it. Sadly there wasn't much info on the cars themselves, so I can't tell much more.
There were also a couple of cockpits running sims that I assume must have been GSCE, since the cockpits were from Reiza's partner Cockpit Extreme Racing, but sadly they were turned off.
I did take some pictures!
First, an actual Opala. They had 3 of those there:
Next, a later Copersucar driven by Emerson himself...
But they also had the original one driven by Wilson Fittipaldi! Looks familiar, right?
There was this Stock V8, which looked a bit older than Reiza's:
This one isn't Brazilian, but it's too cool not to share! A 1968 Lola T140:
And a final shot of the "Retros"!
If you happen to be in São Paulo, the exhibit is at Conjunto Nacional, Av. Paulista, in the heart of the city. I think it'll be there until the end of the month. There were at least some 15 other cars, it's free, well worth a visit.
