I notice in the default PLR the FFB friction and damper are the same value. I tuned them a while ago to my own values.
Now I'm tuning again to reduce some unwanted 'extra energy' in the wheel in oversteer scenarios especially where I've put the backend a little further out than usual and have to work to correct it. The wheel spins too quickly one or another making it more difficult to catch than I would expect in other sims.
My question is, in a regular car is friction greater than damper or vice versa?
How do you tune your friction and damper? Do you have any criteria?
Thanks,
