How to change the length of an race in career mode?

So i'm starting career, S01 first race. With medium settings i get 40 minutes races.
Sweated through the 1st one. Will not do the second one as 40 minute race.

I tried to look through json-files in documents "C:\Users\User\Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione\Savegames"
Could not find any setting to change it? Yes, in config you can change it to "short" but does that do anything?

Desperately help needed here...

Went through and sweated the 40 minute race. Next race was 20 minutes (Cause changed it to short in JSON-files)

So if somebody else is facing this situation: You are SOL. Game reads the json files after whole weekend/session is completed.

And now getting "Fatar error: File:Unknown Line:361. GameMode init: No events in season entity, shutting down"

When returned second ago.
