How to create skins

Hi everybody!

I would like to start painting and creating my own skins for AC cars (or whatever other sim games, indeed), such as the F - Hybrid and blahblah. Any suggestion for a tutorial? I'm aware there must be plenty of them, but I trust your criteria if you recommend me any of them. I like working hard in order to get the most of it, so I'm looking for quite complete tutorials.
