Go to documents/my games/formulaone and edit the hardware_settings_config.xml file. Near the bottom you'll see a line that starts with <mirrors enabled="true" change the true to false and save the file.

That should do what you want.

This is what I see how do I edit

<vehicles characterQuality="3" lodQuality="2"/>
<envmap faces="6" size="512" forceBilinear="true"/>
<water update="true" detail="2"/>
<mirrors enabled="true" forceBilinear="true" width="1024" height="256" car_maxlod="1" car_culldist="300.0"/>
<skidmarks enabled="true"/>
<dynamic_ambient_occ enabled="true"/>
<track_reflections enabled="true"/>
<physics environmentalDamage="true" vehicleDamage="true"/>
<motion enabled="true" ip="dbox" port="20777" delay="1" extradata="0"/>
</hardware_settings_config>

no that didn't work, they are still there, any idea's? I changed to False below

<mirrors enabled="false" forceBilinear="false" width="1024" height="256" car_maxlod="1" car_culldist="300.0" />
<skidmarks enabled="true" />
<dynamic_ambient_occ enabled="true" />
<track_reflections enabled="true" />
<physics environmentalDamage="true" vehicleDamage="true" />
<motion enabled="true" ip="dbox" port="20777" delay="1" extradata="0" />
</hardware_settings_config>
