Industrial Year in this niche industry

So I'd like to ask for recommendations regarding a strange situation.

Basically, I love motorsports. I'm on a University course for video game development which has an Industrial Year (like a year of work experience) as part of it starting in June 2019 until uni starts again in September 2020. What I have to do, since no positions of this nature are advertised in simracing is get into contact with as many of the studios as possible and try and work my way into a placement of this nature.

Thing is, there aren't many developers like this, there are even less who put out contact details that aren't customer service lines.

Does anyone have any suggestions and an email/phone number I might be able to contact?

Right now my list is 3 long:
Codemasters
Slightly Mad Studios
Simbin

Thankyou so much to any suggestions, I've gone a bit blank on this and anything helps.

EDIT: If anyone knows the email for playground games and their recruitment department, I'd be incredibly grateful to be given that information too. Thanks again!
