Is there a workaround for the minimap now?

The minimap used to be on my left screen so I'm mostly happy with that. But now not only is it on my central monitor, also it only shows cars as a colored dot without showing any part of the track. When I click "Start" in the garage menu and go inside the car, sometimes there is a fraction of a second that I could see a flash of the track's shape, but it's gone almost immediately after that.

I read here that I'm not the only one who's having such issues. Is there a workaround now?

@St3fan I don't know if this helps you or not, but CTRL+M turns the track map on or off.

I see what you mean. But my game crashes on launch if I install that plugin.

yes the old map is very "ugly" but with the sweet fx its back to normal

i have no problems with the sweet fx, dont know why but maybe you did something wrong... you can turn of/on the map with keypad 0 if you using the sweet fx
