karting boots are they worth it?

been having a conversation with my lad today ....... I wear slippers for sim driving but he said I should try karting boots
What do you guys think???

Really nice karting boots are great if you have load cell pedals. I spent quite a while trying to find a pair with a thin enough soul for my liking and I ended up with the Tech 1k from alpinestars.

I love the shoes, but if I'm being honest I only use them about half the time I spend in the rig. I have Clubsport V3s, so maybe if I had HE or Hydraulic pedals I would wear the shoes more.

Heusinkveld pro owner so I am glad with my kartkng shoes. Have them over 5 years now and they really show some wear and tear. (The boots)
