MGP17 Managerial Career mode - annoying bug maybe??

Hey guys

Have any of you noticed when you play in Managerial Career mode, and say you start doing upgrades to your bike...then you go hire those engineers that should reduce your R&D time by 1-3 weeks but the time doesn't go down (it's always starts at 8 weeks)

Unless it's me not seeing what it initially starts at...but if it's a bug, it's highly annoying because you're wasting money on R&D guys that basically do nothing

I'm having the following issue about that :
I start upgrading the engine (supposed to take 8 weeks)
I hire engineers (it goes from 8 to 7 weeks)
Then 7 weeks later it goes to "0 week" then "-1 week", "-2 week", ...
And I end up with a busy workshop, stuck upgrading an engine forever :s

I was having the same problem but now I've got completely stuck on an activity day. It came up with a blank screen and now I can't go any further :| really annoyed and no reply from Activision about a patch or fix

New patch seems to of sorted out the problems. Now to find the next ones
