Menus in AC with Oculus Rift

I love AC with Oculus Rift, but I can't see menus etc. when using VR. I can race and or practice, but must remove the headset when I want to change cars or tracks. In other sims that is not the case. Have I not set it up correctly? Is that the way it is supposed to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know. That is why I asked. Is this normal for AC? If so, why?

It is normal. I can't answer why they did it, though. You can use Virtual Dektop to display the menus in the oculus Rift.

It's normal. For a second there you could use steam VR but that's since broken as well.
