Modelling question

I have 2 mods that are similar, but would like to be able to take the wheels/rims from one mod and put them into the other.

Can this be done? And if so is it reasonably simple? Please note that this is purely for personal use only with absolutely no plan to release publicly.

Also, as someone who has been interested in getting into modelling, it may be a small personal project to take on for learning purposes.

Thats not "modelling", what your looking for is all about modding..... and yes it´s reasonably easy to do, you need 3dsimed MAS from ISI to extract the GMT´s and play with them around on 3dsimed.
