I can't think of another marque their supercars would beat GT3 counterparts around Bathurst
So pretty impressive

Would be interested in seeing what a P1 GTR would do, but yes, was very impressive.

P1 GTR produces 600kg downforce @160mph

BT62 maximum 1200kg and weighs just 972kg

P1 also has hybrid, and you're comparing it to the 720s GT3 rather than a GTE - I suspect the 720 is still quicker but I'd like to see it.

GT3 is more impressive then BT62 consider weight difference

If you watch video the BT62 lifts off at the hump up Mountain Straight and coasts up to Turn 2

They're approximately LMP2 speeds ( somewhere around mid-pack at Fuji, iirc ) - Bathurst in something that large & quick would be ... interesting.
