Need to make a motion-friendly keyboard mount

Hi,
I have this rig made from 1010 profiles:

I've made a keyboard stand for it out of the same profile:

I'm thinking of moving the mouse to a plate behind the shifter that I can put here:

I'd like to find a way to mount the keyboard here, allowing it to lock in and out of position, so there's no rattle or clanking when using the motion rig. Any ideas?

at one point the same platform that my keyboard and mouse sits on was on top of my base,
but it makes the screen impossible to see when not in VR, and I would like to keep FOV somewhat realistic.

I decided to just use a separate little laptop cart at lowest height setting to hold my wireless keyboard and VR controllers. They are always a arms reach away, and no rattle.

I was thinking of just keeping my keyboard tray I've made since I do use it to mount my HOTAS when I play flight games. Until the day I can think up some solid non-rattling mechanism for using a keyboard and moving out of the way when not needed, I'll count my blessings. Thanks for the replies!

I like that even better than the one I'm using. Being able to adjust the angle of the keyboard would definitely make it work better.

FYI, I have a trackball mouse mount that takes 3/4" velcro coins to hold the trackball mouse in place. There is an M5 and M6 version and there are holes on a 20mm grid pattern.

I made a special bracket for my rig, but the concept is similar.
